Mrs. Cahill
HI! My name is Mrs. Cahill and I love teaching kindergarten. I have three children that I am so proud of. My son is in college and my daughters are both in high school. My family spends the summer at a lake and enjoys spending time outside at the beach or on the water. Mr. Cahill and I love road trips and spending time together. Some of my favorites are:

Mrs. Brooks
My name is Kerri Brooks and I LOVE teaching kindergarten! I have two children named Brandon and Olivia and two stepchildren named Jack and Juliet. When I’m not teaching, you can find me and my family skiing, swimming or enjoying the outdoors. I also have a passion for horses, I grew up with two horses and competed through college. I have a huge sweet tooth! One special thing about me as a teacher is that I promise to love and care for your child while they are with me!!
Some of my favorites are: Seeing Phish shows with my husband, watching movies with my kids, exercising, and enjoying beach days on Cape Cod.

Ms. Melisi
Hi there! My name is Ms. Melisi and I am one of the first grade teachers at Peaslee School. I have been teaching here for over twenty one years!. I have three sons who have all attended Peaslee. In my free time I enjoy reading, going to the beach, and spending time with my sons.

Mrs. Herdman
Hello! My name is Mrs.Herdman and I teach first grade. I’m excited to start the new school year! We are going to have a fun year at Peaslee. I live in Northborough and all three of my children went to Peaslee School.
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I enjoy cooking, reading and taking walks. I love spending time on the beach in the summer and all things about the fall. I love to travel and learn about new places.

Mrs. Greenspan
My name is Mrs. Greenspan and I love teaching at Peaslee. I have two daughters who are graduates of the Northborough schools. My family enjoys traveling and Mr. Greenspan and I enjoy going on cycling adventures.

Ms. Matteson
I live in Worcester, MA with my two cats, Noah & Moses. I have been a teacher at Peaslee School for 23 years and love meeting each new class of second graders. Mostly, I love getting materials for my classroom. Amazon, Office Depot. Michael’s and Staples are favorites! Occasionally, I enjoy getting coffee from Panera.

My name is Mrs. Alderman and I love teaching at Peaslee. I have three boys who are 10, 10 & 6. My family enjoys visiting new places, the beach, small hikes and playing games.

Mrs. Farrell
This is my 23rd year at Peaslee School. I have taught second and third grade. My husband and I live in Lancaster with our 2 kids. Their names are Sean and Nora. Sean is a freshman at St. Johns and my daughter is in her first year of middle school in Lancaster. My son plays hockey and my daughter dances. I love watching them participate in their activities. I love the beach especially on Cape Cod, a great book and going out to dinner. I also have a yellow lab named Marvin who I enjoy cuddling with and walking. But truly I love all dogs.
Mrs. Donegan
Hello my name is Mrs. Donegan! I have been teaching for 15 years, 11 of them at Peaslee. I have taught third, fourth, and fifth grade and am so happy to be in third grade again this year. I spent lots of time reading and traveling this summer and am excited for a the year ahead.

4th Grade
Ms. Halford
My name is Ms. Halford and I love teaching at Peaslee! When I’m not teaching, you’d probably find me alongside my two daughters who are in first and second grade at Zeh School. (I actually taught third grade at Zeh School for about ten years before moving over to Peaslee.)
We love trying new things/foods, going to the movies, getting our nails done together, being outside and enjoying good weather/the sunshine, going on little adventures, and playing with our adorable dog, Poppy.
Some of my other favorite things include:

Mrs. Griffin
I have taught 3rd and 4th grade for many years at Peaslee School. Mr. Griffin and I have a daughter in 6th grade and a son in 3rd grade. We stay pretty busy watching them in all of their after school activities and sports! When we aren’t at a dance rehearsal or a football game, we love to be outdoors, cooking/baking, and hanging out with our two dogs at home.

5th Grade
Mrs. Daunais
I love being a fifth grade teacher at Peaslee! I feel so lucky to be a parent and teacher in Northborough! My son Kyle is in 8th grade and my son Luke is in 6th grade, both boys at Melican Middle School. I am often seen around town cheering my boys on at their sporting events. Both boys play basketball and baseball, and Luke plays soccer as well. Our family loves sports, especially the Celtics and Red Sox (although Mr. Daunais is a Yankees fan!!) My favorite season is summer and I love to spend time in Cape Cod, going to the beach with my family and friends. Some of my other favorite things include eating sushi, drinking Nicky D’s iced coffee (and Cumberland Farms hot coffee during the winter) and getting my nails done.
Mrs. Bayley
My name is Mrs. Bayley and I love teaching 5th grade at Peaslee. I have two young children, Jack who is 2 and Emma who is almost 3 months. Mr. Bayley and I enjoy taking our kiddos on adventures to the beach or someplace where they can learn and explore. Jack is very curious and I think Emma will be too!

Ms. Burns
My name is Ms. Burns and I am so excited to begin my second year teaching music at Peaslee School! I teach music to students in grades K-3 and share my classroom with Mrs. Whalen who teaches students in grades 4 and 5. I am originally from the South Shore of MA and recently graduated from UMass Amherst, Go Minutemen! Somethings to know about me are:

Ms. Waldman
My name is Ms Waldman and I love being the Art Specialist at Peaslee School. The students are so talented and creative. They inspire me! My son also went to Peaslee when he was a boy. I enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, going to the movies, making things, looking at art whenever I can, and baking cookies from scratch. My favorite foods are ice cream, pizza,watermelon, and soup. My birthday is on the first day of spring so it’s my favorite season. I love color, long walks especially at the beach, reading, cooking, and going to art museums. My favorite store to shop at is Trader Joe’s.
Mrs. Whalen
I’ve been teaching music for 23 years now, and I’ve been in the Northborough Schools since 2001. I live in Westborough with my husband and our 2 cats, Marv and Duke. His three kids have all grown up now, and they are off in various places. The youngest, Elizabeth, just finished at UVM and is currently doing internships at Zoos around the country. She worked with Elephants and Rhinos in Memphis, and Lions, Tigers, and Bears (Oh my!) in Rhome, Texas. Soon, she’ll be off to Columbus, Ohio to work with Polar Bears.
In my spare time, I love to sing (obviously), read and write fiction, and spoil my cats with toys and treats.
Mr. McAuliffe
Hello My name is Mr. McAuliffe and it has been great teaching P.E. here at Peaslee for the last 16 years. I live here in Northboro with my wife and have one daughter who just recently graduated from Algonquin and is now a freshmen at UNH. My favorite season is summer and I love spending time at the beach reading either in Rhode Island or Cape Cod. I enjoy going on walks and bike rides with my wife. I also like to spend time at the YMCA as well as golfing and playing ice hockey.
